27 Feb Our Winter Has Been Cold But Home Sales HOT

As we all know (and, as we continue to defrost!), here in Atlanta this winter has been a cold one. But that doesn’t look to have stopped home buyer’s from getting out and purchasing their next home. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, January’s number was well above expectations and nearly 10 percent above December’s rate. From the numbers, it appears this was the case across the country, with ‘new-home’ sales up in January in the South, West and Northeast.
