06 May Oakhurst and Winnona Park…Two of Decatur’s Finest Neighborhoods

Decatur is one of Georgia’s most beautiful and accessible urban environments. Unlike much of Atlanta, Decatur was designed to be a city you can walk around in. With a wonderful town square and plenty of great restaurant and music venues, Decatur has been attracting both individuals and families for many, many years.

Two of Decatur’s most popular neighborhoods are Oakhurst and Winnona Park. Both neighborhoods border Agnes Scott and are within walking distance of downtown Decatur. Oakhurst is best known for its smart business and restaurant district, offering a terrific environment for people to get together and hang out. In addition to the great urban living, both Oakhurst and Winnona Park have two of the best elementary schools in the state.
