Lake Claire Public School System

There are three public City of Atlanta schools located within Lake Claire to provide education to children of all ages. Mary Lin Elementary School serves around 450 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It is an arts partner school grant recipient that provides discipline-based arts education.

Inman Middle School hosts around 700 students in grades sixth through eighth. Situated on Virginia Avenue, the middle school was awarded the National School of Excellence Award in the 1997-98 school year.

For the bigger kids, Henry W. Grady High School serves 800 students in grades ninth through twelfth. The high school has been recognized as a Georgia School of Excellence and received the status of outstanding high school by the US News & World Report.
