15 Aug Grab a Bike to Explore In-Town Atlanta Real Estate

One of the best ways to explore in-town Atlanta real estate is to simply grab a bike and go.  It is the healthy way to take in the neighborhoods and appreciate the variety of scenery along the way.  There are many appealing bike routes in the in-town Atlanta area.

Consider taking a 2-mile bike ride from Virginia Highland or Midtown to Emory.  This is a scenic route with plenty of opportunities to see the diverse real estate offered in in-town Atlanta.  Another excellent route for viewing Atlanta real estate is the approximately 5-mile ride from Georgia Tech to Little Five Points.  There is some speedy traffic along the way as you drive on Marietta and Edgewood. Beyond Moreland and Euclid, you can ride further to view Candler Park and Decatur.

If you are ready to bike for a little over 9 miles, explore the Recovery Loop going from Candler Park to the downtown area of Atlanta.  There is a fast loop around Centennial then you bike the roads of Marietta, Edgewood and Euclid.  The Westside Training Loop is an even longer ride, at over 18 miles.  The road loop is in west Buckhead and starts at Defoor from the north and 17^th or 10^th from the east side.

For those who can ride up to 20 miles, the 10 Neighborhood Ride is a mix of neighborhood and city bike riding.  It uses roads with the PATH system and bike lanes.  It focuses on the eastern side of in-town Atlanta, and you get to view at least ten different neighborhoods along the way.  It is an ideal route to view all types of in-town Atlanta homes.

Many tourist and locals take advantage of these fantastic bike routes to view in-town Atlanta real estate.  The added bonus is you’re doing something healthy for yourself at the same time.
