Over the past three years, it is evident the in-town Atlanta real estate market is starting to recover.   As the market steadily improves, there are greater opportunities to find dream housing in this up-and-coming area of the city.   More people are discovering the affordability and convenience of buying homes in this neighborhood. From April to June, the median sales price for a midtown Atlanta home increased.   Trulia reports the median sales price of a midtown Atlanta home was $193,000.   This is an increase of 1.6 percent compared to the prior quarter.   Five years ago, sales prices sharply decreased in this area, and now they are rising again.

The reported sales of in-town condos is picking up.   Condos are being more competitively priced and a larger number of people are buying them.  As new construction continues, prices are sure to rise again very soon.   This means buyers looking for the best deal should purchase now, rather than waiting a few months or a year.

 

 

 

 

  1. More buyers are searching for Atlanta homes.   Real estate agents report an increasing number of buyers are inquiring about available in-town Atlanta homes.   They are actively looking at homes and realizing they will be able to score the best prices now.
  1. Buyers and sellers are coming closer together.   The trend of sellers pricing closer to market value is encouraging buyers to close more deals.   Buyers realize they are getting a decent bargain and sellers have realistic expectations about what their homes are worth.
