12 Nov Atlanta Market Update
Over the past several weeks, I have heard a lot of people talk about how bad the real estate market is in Atlanta. I am here to tell you that it is simply not true. I will admit, we are in the midst of a recession — and from what I have read it is going to be a much deeper and longer recession than the one we experienced in 2001.
That being said, people continue to move into Atlanta. Our city is growing, albeit at a much slower rate, but that is okay. Corrections in both the equity and real estate markets happen when we lose touch with reality an expect more for something than it is actually worth. Remember — reality is a good thing.
The Anderson Group’s business remains strong, and that is because people still need to buy and sell property. If you are selling in this market, there is a good chance that you can still command a reasonable rate of return upon the sale of your home. If you are buying a home, you have a significant opportunity to acquire property with a tremendous amount of value. To do either, you need an experienced partner to guide you through the process.
We are helping a lot of people work within limitations of our current market and make smart selling or purchasing decisions. If you are thinking about selling or buying, give us a call to see how we can assist you.
