Located northeast of downtown Atlanta, within minutes of midtown, Morningside is one of the older and most desirable Atlanta neighborhoods.    A lovely, well established neighborhood, it got its start in 1923 by a local real estate company looking to sell lots.   With recent sales averaging between $400,000 and $500,000, homes in Morningside are now among the more expensive in the Atlanta area but are well worth every cent.  A drive through the area will show an array of beautiful, well maintained, old style brick homes.
