Over the past two months, the frequency of short-sales have seemed to increase. While each bank has its own policy on how to deal with short-sales, it appears that banks are moving faster to get deals done. Most short-sales take 45 to 90 days, but we are seeing short-sales close in under 45 days as the market continues to get worse.
